Indians in america as what has happen to them through biological warfare of urine stained blankets is wrong?

I implore in understanding that biological warfare is wrong to use on people including uranic disease that where used on northern american indians to infect the popilation to destroy there people as peace talks broke promises not kept but the north american indian lives in america .I see no tradition left but cheap chinese made indian pictures that repesents nothing of north american indian culture and history as these are people part of american history and america should not be afraid to talk and discuss there heritage in way to keep this nationalty alive and from sickness as i have watched indians from indian infect islanders and wipe a whole race with HIV AIDs which is wrong .America needs to count many north american indians are left as this is a issue that is concerning as to work with these people is understanding there family traditions and tradition seems to be dieing and why should it as i like these people appreciate them as i would like to eat buffalo meat with corn .

Indians in america as what has happen to them through biological warfare of urine stained blankets is wrong?
first of all learn to spell secondly get yourself a straight thought before you write looks like a big ramble that is hard to follow.
Reply:Come to Oklahoma; the Indian tradition is alive and well.

The Indians have discovered capitalism in many forms. They have opened many casinos from which their people profit greatly. Casinos, smoke shops, grocery stores, you name the commerce and Indians are invested in it.

I used to provide service to the beef and pork industry but I have switched allegiances and now will eat only American Bison, also produced by Indians. It is the lower fat, higher protein and superior quality that gets me on board.

The Tribes in Oklahoma use these industries to keep their culture alive, I have been to many Indian dances and the Red Earth Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year by all the people, not just Indians.

If you think the Indian art community is dead you have not been to Oklahoma. Indian artists have to prove their Indian heritage before they can promote their work as Indian art. The quality is world renowned and is appreciated by people from all cultures. I recently purchased a piece of Indian art from a man who shares the same name as my father. He is one of the most talented artists alive. His art hangs in the castles of royalty and mansions of Internet billionaires.

It is time that everyone stopped thinking of American Indians as victims but instead as a group of Americans that is working to improve the economy, culture, diet and well being of all society as a whole.

The stereotype of a poor whiskey drinking indian needs to go into the trash with the lawn jockey.

So says this foul tempered, whiskey drinking American with an Irish and German background.
Reply:Inar, you're full of kwitop (**** in Comanche). The U.S. introduced germ warfare on us long before Saddam did his own people. He more than likely got the idea from the good Ol' USA! As far as not being sympathetic, well good for you, but how would you of like to be speaking French or Spanish? If it wasn't for us kicking their *** all over the prarie you more than likely would have been. We were kicking your ancestors *** too, untill you unleashed germ warfare on my people. Do me a favor? Check out which minority has the highest enlistment in the Armed Forces. You might be surprize it is us, but you shouldn't be because it is still OUR country too, and we have always defended it. Check the real history out, and then think to yourself how many "white eyes" were saved by American Indian Code talkers during the World Wars. I'm willing to bet you have some relative who was saved by mine.
Reply:they gave them smallpox blankets, not urine stained ones...my kid peed on his blanket for ****sakes...the smallpox blankets killed a bunch of them but we made up for it with reservations, casinos ect
Reply:I do feel for you as my ancestors were nearly wiped out by diseases in the 1800's (Haida).

But you must remember that the people of today are not the ones responsible for these past deeds. And there is continual improvement in respecting the traditions and cultures of First Nation peoples.

And I also don't agree with you that the traditions, art, and even diet are dying. More and more First Nation people are re-identifying with their heritage and contributing to the perpetuation of the culture.
Reply:maybe I'm just mean, but i have never been sympathetic to "native Americans" (they re not native, no humans are native to north America, the only place with indigenous humans is the middle east, we spread like a plague to the rest of the world)

American Indians were the enemy of the European settlers, it was a war about land, and the white Europeans, followed by the white Americans won the war. American Indians should be thankful we were nice enough to put them on reservations instead of outright slaughtering all of them.
