I hear a lot about how bad we treated the blacks. What about the jews, Indians,Italians , Mexicans, and Asians

Every race that came to our country was treated as an outsider. There were more Native Indian and Asian slaves than there were black slaves. What about the mess the government put the indians in, fencing them in reservations, poisining their blankets, raping their woman and daughters, and killing them for fun? Where does this country get off treating the blacks like royalty while they continue to use the indians for casino profits. Several tribes have seperated because of our government backed casinos in the reservations in order to draw out trillions in tax dollars regardless of how the tribes voted.Then they point the finger at the indians for tax free liquor and smokes. Haven't the poor Native Indians given enough. When will we take from the African Americans????

Good question - I was thinking the other day about the BIGGEST mistake the "white man" ever made. Greed has RUINED our society because if the men who had shackled up slaves to do work for them would have gotten out in the fields and done it them damn selves, we today might not have to put up with them. Now they have ruined and trashed and demoralized on welfare, selling their food stamps to buy rims for their escalades to go out and shoot each other and drugs and guns and violence while they have impregnated who knows how many little girls. There is NO good out of it. Why in the world did they all have to be floated over here? They blame it on the people living today like it is our fault when it was the STUPID slave traders' faults!!!!!

There were definitely not more Asian and Native slaves as Blacks..........No one discludes the Mexicans, Jews, Indians and Italians from the bad treatment that was received.......Everyone has suffered because of the selfish and lazy white man except for the whites. So what is your point?





Now we should not talk about how the blacks were treated because other were also treated badly......I don't understand
Reply:I am an African American and I have never felt like royalty in this country. Sin is sin no matter what/who it is inflicted upon. I think the African Americans have paid more than their fair share of blood, sweat and tears in this country. It saddens me to hear that you feel that. All one would have to do is just look around. It seems that just about anyone can come to this country and be treated better that we do. It is because of my ancestors that other nationalities enjoy the civil rights that they do today. I have never read where Asians or Indians were enslaved in this country. As far as the Indians, I absolutely have to take my hat off to them and their ancestors. Ultimately it is thru them that we all have a spot that we call home. They were uprooted from their very way of life and given tokens for their trouble. None of it is right. No matter which way you slice it. Even with all that, God says that we should love our neighbors. May God Bless U.
Reply:no, you-me-us, that's true, the natives in north america were treated like slaves from day1,pushed aside onto worthless lands had babies torn from mother's arms and put into 'schools', had bounties on their scalps that, by the way, still exist in some states, and treated like they didn't exist . All this is still going on. there are still some places that alcohol is not allowed to be bought by or served to Indians. But you never see the race people up in arms about the mercury in wells on native lands, or the murder of a redskin by a white or black. Its all politics.
Reply:Yes its true. Blacks shouldn't be so upset about how whites treat them, because once in awhile, you can find sometimes that they treat whites like "white trash" too! And I'm Jewish, so maybe I could complain about the holocaust. No matter what race you are, there's something bad that happened. So people should look into everyone's problems as a whole, instead of just one or another.

Reply:I am Mexican but I was born in California and I feel that I get descriminated due to this issue of illegal immigration and ignorant people think that any Latino is illegal. But just because I get descriminated i won't take it out on blacks because I know they have been getting descriminated for over 200 years and were forced to come to this country in chains. And research does show that blacks get it worse than any other race. What you are saying about Native Americans is true, America was their country and it was robbed from them. Every minority faces hardships and we should all embrace eachother's differences and try to make this the country that Martin Luther King wanted it to be instead of trying to argue about who has it worse.
Reply:but they,..all the others were not treated to 213 years of slavery and then generations after 1863 trying to act as if it didn't exist or that it doesn't matter.
Reply:Yes, you are accurate, but you forgot to mention the Irish. They suffered much worse then the Blacks. What about the poor Bohemians. They were treated worse then the Blacks. People need to study Genealogy and you will find out who suffered the worse. Mass graves were made in Canada and then hundreds of burials at sea. This happened to the poor Irish emmigrants.
